So I go and submit a case to one of the upcoming regional meetings, not thinking much about it, but then, it gets accepted for oral presentation. Anyone have a way to go bout putting this together in a streamlined fashion?

The ones that I have seen people have just presented it as a Q and A/"mystery case" with audience participation (a little). I also think they had a short powerpoint presentation, but just your typical morning report type one with the cc, HPI, labs, maybe path slides, etc.

Only other tip I have is don't fill up the empty spaces/pauses by saying "Ummm...". That gets highly annoying and makes you sound dumb - and we all know you are one of those smarty pants Mayo geniuses (:

It depends on the case. What's interesting about it? How can you capture your audience in the first 30 seconds of your presentation?

Is it the Dx? The Tx? The outcome? Complications?
