I was just wondering the extent that calc. and other math is utilized in pharm school.

Also, do any of you attend the University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy? If so, what is it like, is it as hard as some of the undergraduates say? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Pharmacy Calculations is big on algebra, some calculus as well.

I was terrible in calculus (boring) but this class wasn't terribly difficult.

Pharmacy math is generally application math.

Logarithms are big.

Math is, without a doubt, my weakest area. In pharmacy school, the math (like JPH said) is mostly algebraic. Depending on your school's curriculum, pharmacokinetics gets a little more compicated, including calculus and physics.
