Hello,

I would like to stay in Ohio for my residency, however I have no idea about Ohio state. Any input from someone in the program or anyone who knows anything about it, would be highly appreciated.

1. How do you rate the program?
2. And how do you see the attending-resident relationships?
3. I saw a pretty bad review on Scutwork (it is the latest one)

Thank you.

I've heard good things about Ohio State - probably one of the best if not the best (arguable vs. Case Western, but these two are probably the class of academic IM in Ohio) program in Ohio. Their cardiology is strong, obviously 2nd in the state to Cleveland Clinic, but no program in the country isn't 2nd to Cleveland Clinic when it comes to cardiology, so... I've also heard good things about their oncology program.

Thank you Baylorlion. For now, I seem to like hem/onc that is the reason I am choosing OSU. Although I wasn't sure of their IM.

Anyone else, please comment.

Thanks a lot.

I'm also interested in Ohio State - I would like to specialize in heme-onc and I know their cancer center is pretty well-known. Does anyone have more specific information about the internal medicine residency (call schedule, quality of teaching, etc)?
