On U Chicago's IM website, they state they require step 1 and 2 scores to complete one's application. Will current applications take (and have) their step 2 cs and ck scores by the early December deadline?

I remember some discussion on this earlier, but can't find the old thread. Any insight from current residents would be helpful as well, since I am registered for cs and ck for nov and december, respectively.

There was in fact a thread on that last year. IIRC, people stated that they got interviews At U of C w/ only Step 1 last year. It's (mercifully) been 3y since I had to do it but I only had Step 1 and also got an interview. It doesn't hurt to just apply and see what happens. CS and CK by the end of the year should be fine. If it gets down to late Nov and you still haven't heard from them, it would be worth calling to ask if Step 2 is the issue.

I'll go 2 steps further - get it!?... 2 steps - step 2...oh well - someone from my program is an intern in IM right now and didn't take Step 2 until March 10. I think its just an outdated/unenforced requirement. Cheereo!
