I think I just received my favorite rejection (I have had many!), this one was emailed to me and actually included the names and emails of the other applicants who were rejected! Talk about invasion of privacy. I really don't mind who knows that I got the shaft, but medical students are known to have fragile egos!

Oh, and you had to open up an attachment to get the good news, I hope that my computer doesn't get a virus!

i got it today also...and i already knew that i was rejected. i called and they told me in november.
how can people be so cold and uninterested??

Did they just copy the same email to a bunch of people saying they were rejected? And it really listed the names of all the people they didn't want to talk to?

When I got a rejection from a prelim program last year, part of the list came through; at least I knew that someone from Harvard got the axe same day as me!
