Is it just me or is anyone else out there got really hard bio questions? I had at least 8 questions about new research and latest technologies -- you know, the ones on discovery channel/tv. Neither Kaplan book nor my 4 years of undergrad have even skimmed through those topics -- and i took 300- upper 400 level Bio classes. :mad:

THEN there was RC ( frap and ethics ) I was getting 20's on Achiever then suddenly BOOOM -- 16 on RC! :(

I definitely think I got the harder version of the test. I'm venting, but I want to know if anyone else had the same test as I did.

PS. I did OK overall and have an interview from one school right now - but thats because I completed my secondaries late in August.

are these technologies different from pcr, cloning, sequencing, elisa type of stuff?

I did... I know it was hard and stuff like we have never seen before. Alot of late bio tech question.

Yeah it totally sucks... But you still did ok. You'll probably be fine. I had the FRAP too and I know I could have done better. I am actually scheduled to retake the DAT in October but I am still getting interviews so dont worry you will too

i think these experimental biology questions just require a little more reasoning and time. definitely not easy but not impossible either.

i didnt get one biotech question. I wouldve loved that since i got my degree in biotech and did 3 years of that research! LoL :rolleyes:
