Thought I'd mix things up a bit. Since interview season is over for a few and in full swing for others; which ED do you consider to be the best. I'm not asking about the residency program, I'm talking facilities. Plasma screens, Sono-sites at bedside, no curtains WALLS, TV's in room, great computer system, good lighting, attractive staff (male or female).

so far, the new EDs I've come across have been high on my "superficial" list

Maryland - 2 months old
Cook County - weeks old

any additions?

Based on just physical plant, I thought Christiana had a very nice ED. There were a few others that had more options, like hyperbaric chambers, etc.

A lot of the places had really nice set ups for children's EDs, even if the adult ED looked dumpy (eg, UT Southwestern---great program) has a county adult ED and looks like it, but the kid's side is really nicely set up and big.

I can't believe any ED can compare to the one in Rochester, but Hennepin and Oregon also have really nice physical plants.
