what are you looking for in a residency? do you have an idea if you would be interested in a particular fellowship down the line? do you think you have a pretty good shot of matching at the other cali schools you interviewed?

Hmm...if you don't want to make another trip to California, for whatever reasons, including financial, then cancel the interview. Nobody knows your unique situation better than yourself. The analysis is quite simple, if you are confident that you'll match someplace else that is more desirable, then cancel the interview. If not then go. If you can't afford it, then stay home.
