For those who are really serious about organic chemistry i would suggest looking into ORGANIC CHEMISTRY ODYSSEY. Not only is it helpful for doing well on the dat but it is a valuable tool for anybody taking organic chemistry. It was the #1 reason i got an A on both orgo 1 and 2. Im not kidding but after reading through this entire book i rarely come across an orgo question that i havent seen before. When i look at dat orgo questions it is laughable how easy they are. It is a unique book in that unlike other books it has hand written answers by Dr romano himself. It isnt just printed up by some random person looking to make money but rather by a man who knows more about organic chemistry than most people know about anything. Just a warning to people out there who think they are getting a book that will just teach them tricks that will magicaly make them do awesome on organic chemistry YOU ARE WRONG! This is not a book that you just read through randomly but rather a book that requires careful reading, questions and answers. If you are commited to reading through all questions and answers i can almost guarantee you atleast a 25 on the dat. When studying for the dat i dont even bother looking at orgo questions anymore. every time i see a supposedly new dat question im always thinking "I've seen that one before".
