Hi I am taking a year off between my 2nd and 3rd year to do my MPH. I had planned to take Step 1 in August but am thinking of extending to do it in September. Does anyone know if there is any problem with taking step 1 during my year off?

There really shouldn't be any problem. However, you may want to contact your school because every school has their own policy of when they want you to take the test. Good luck!
