How does the real MCAT scale its score in comparison to KAPLAN?

For my first KAPLAN full length , I got about 55% of the questions right on verbal and got a score of 5 whereas about a 50% score in PS gave me a score of 9. Is this accurate?

What constitutes a score of 10 or above on VR (roughly)?

scale is more generous on kaplan but the score is still accurate and representative of your predicted performance on MCAT
