Has anyone out there taken this shelf exam? I think it's kind of new and I'm wondering if there's anything I should use to study for it.

Wait! There's now a shelf exam for the sub-I? Different from the IM shelf? What a bunch of crap. Who cares?

To answer your question, just stick with the basics. The thing to remember about the shelf exams is that they're medicine, as practiced 5 years ago. Assuming you've done well on the rotation, you should be fine.

Thank god we don't have this extra BS hoop to jump through.

My school just started these for the medicine subI's and made them optional - if you do well, it can help your grade. If you choose not to take it or do extremely poorly, they'll disregard it. I still don't know anyone who's taken it (shocker).
