I have been looking into Kaplan and I was wondering if anyone on SDN has done the summer intensive MCAT prep course. I am thinking about doing it next year and for $9,000 I just want to make sure its the right move.

$9000 dollars is extremely expensive, and im my opinion is not at all worth it. I did the Kaplan Classroom course for about $2000 (I think) and that worked out just fine for me. I improved 13 points from my diagnostic.

However after taking that, I would advise people to simply buy the online package because this is the good stuff. The class was okay to keep you organized, but didnt really teach you much. Save some money and buy the Kaplan online course.

WTF how could a kaplan course be 9000$ dollars!!!... my friend bought the private tutoring it was still nowhere near that! The only point of the class is to force you to stay on track and do the HW's and chapters will the class and it paces you nicely. If you can self study and have time. Buying the Online stuff alone is still great.

For me, it was the online stuff that worked, the subject quizzes, the FLs, etc... the class was just a review of what you read.
