Hello,
First of all womansurg, I must congratulate you on your being Chief Resident this year. Moreso for your next step of being able to go into your own private practice, I must say I greatly envy you. I know that you worked extremely hard for it and righteously deserve it. I still hope to become a Surgeon someday, Its just that sometimes the desire goes dormant for awhile...not necessarily gone away for good, but it goes dormant. The reason why it goes dormant I would guess is that I still have alot of schooling to go through. If you don't mind my asking a question, though, just out of curiosity, on average, about how many hours per day/week do you work? Not that I would mind the hours needed to be a Surgeon, it's just nice to know just for the records. (I have been trying to find it on the internet with little luck. already been to facs.org) Well I better end this message before it turns into a book. Hope that you reply.
