You can just take it next semester or in the summer. Update your planned courses during the winter update window.

you will need to take it sometime before the end of summer. you can enroll for a CC's winter intersession (night class) to fit it in your schedule if you really need to or wait for spring/summer.

Depending on the course, some of the CA schools would accept and some won't. UCSF accepts public speaking only but not "interpersonal communication."

Make sure that you double check with the school to confirm that the course you decide to take counts!

I honesly really think you should read instructions on filling out pharmcas and how to enter in-progress courses, it will be to your benefit. It's on pharmcas website. ;)
