I plan on re-taking the MCAT in early 2010. I was previously enrolled in Kapan's Online program, and I just submitted a request at re-doing their entire program again.
I need more help than that program is providing, especially in the Verbal section. Can anyone recommend a strong study books specifically catered for the Verbal, Physical, and Biological portions of the exam? I want to play mix-and-match, to make the strongest combination.

I would give SN2ed's study plan a try:

He gives some recommendations and referrals to other test-taker's verbal strategies that have served many people well. I personally used a bunch of different verbal material, but found everything was playing second fiddle to the AAMCs and EK.
If nothing changes, then nothing changes...so it is good that you are looking for alternative methods to increase your score. If you're going osteo, you are within striking distance of having a competitive app (numerically) if you can increase your GPA and MCAT a smidge. Good Luck, you can do it!

EK verbal is gold...and BR is great for PS and ochem.
Bio is a grab bag....EK for light review....TPR for detailed.

I'd suggest either looking at the thread eight or nine below yours, or by clicking here (http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=679169).
