If get approved by FDA and work well, this blood test will make GI from most competetive speciality to least competetive medical speciality:laugh::laugh::love:

I disagree. Whether this or CT colonography is the next recommended screening modality will not influence GI docs negatively. GIs will perform less purely screening colonoscopies but will end up doing many more therapeutics because positive screens by blood test or CT will require polypectomy by GI anyways. Plus if either of these increases our less than great efforts to screen the population for colon CA then it is a public health success while maintaining the importance of GI docs in the process.
