My fiancee is really interested in becoming a Marriage and Family Therapist because it only requires a masters and she's eager to begin working. It seems to be right up her alley being a double major (psych and sociology from UCLA). Does anyone have any information on this career? What's the salary and the workload like? Do you know anyone in the field?

I have heard that tha MSW is a more sought after degree in the field would probably lead to a higher income. Also, she should check out school psych if she's interested b/c it has a higher salry for masters, though u may need an educational specialist certficate which can take a little extra time.
