i'm planning on taking the DAT in a month. i'm a rising senior, but plan on taking a year off, and applying to dental school for the fall of 2005. my question is: will it be problem that my DAT scores will be sent to schools so early, if i don't plan on applying until next may/june? i still have a year of classes, and i haven't even begun with aplications etc...i just didn't know if there was any disadvantage to my scores sitting at the schools until the time i apply. thanks a lot for the advice in advance!

I would call the schools you plan on applying to and just ask. At worst they might make you resend the scores next year when you apply...it'll cost you $10 a school.
