My wife and I are thinking about starting a family, and were wondering how financial aid changes when one has dependents. If you have had kids during school, did you borrow from a private financial institution to make ends meet? Thanks.

My school makes adjustments to the standard budget (based on a single person). I'm definitely able to borrow more. This is something to discuss with the school's financial aid people to see how they do it.
