DOES ANYONE HAVE A RANKING OR A LIST OF IMG FRIENDLY IM PROGRAMS OR ONES THAT HAVE TAKEN IMG'S IN THE RECENT YEARS? PRELIM OR CATEGORICAL.

It's not too difficult to find "IMG friendly" programs in IM as IMG's still make up a majority of IM residents. If you look at almost any program not attached to a university, most if not all of the residents are IMG's. Even most university programs have a good number of IMG's. I'd reccomend talking to an academic advisor at your school to see where graduates have your school have sucessfully matched in the past, as this will give you some place to start.

Unfortunately Im one of those IMG's who does not have the privelege of having a med school advisor for residencies. Ive heard that there is a general list thats been updated and passed down over the years consisting of IM programs out there who have a history of taking IMG'S. Im more interested in university programs. If anyone has any info please respond. Thanks.

Just go on to Yahoo and type "IMG visa internal medicine" and see what comes up.

Could be mistaken, but I believe that the website that you tried to post tried posting their website all over the forums as free advertising in the past so Lee had the filter include usage of that name in the SDN filter. Nothing wrong with posting useful websites for other students to see/find, but you have to draw the line somewhere so you can still get people to pay for advertising on SDN to support this website and avoid having the forum swamped with links to other not-so helpful websites posted by webmasters trying to increase the number of hits on their website for more revenue.
