hi, i was doing a problem on CRACK DAT PAT and im attaching it below... How does this only have 3 cubes with 4 painted sides? Shouldnt it be 4 cubes with 4 painted sides? Why dont they consider the cube thats hidden by the 4 cubes?

I think the answer should be 5 cubes with 4 painted sides.

The drawing is confusing 3 cubes with 4 painted side can be the answer if you assume there is a hidden cube behind the tall stack. That also seem reasonable but all cube counting questions hidden cubes are only there if they are needed to support the structure so I will not count that cube.
