For those in the MD program for August 2011, it looks like we'll be doubling in the on-campus housing for the first term. I'd rather post my personality and preferences here on the forum in hopes of finding a roommate to request, instead of being paired with someone random, and if you feel the same way feel free to post!

Here I go!

I'm generally a positive energy and like to surround myself with people who are similarly optimistic and have a good sense of humor. I like to stay active, going to the gym, riding my bike, running, doing yoga, being outdoorsey, drawing, writing poetry, reading, among other things.

I am pretty tidy although not a neat-freak, and can tolerate mess so long as it is not a danger to our hygiene. I am more of a morning person, going to bed by 11pm and waking up between 6 and 7am. I love to cook and am very, very happy to share meals. Boyfriend in the U.S., so you won't have to worry about being locked out. :thumbup:

Overall, I'm hoping to share a room with someone who has similar sleep patterns (so that we don't keep each other awake or wake each other up), is easy-going, and can communicate well (no passive aggression!). That's pretty much it. If I didn't mention it here, assume I'm cool with it. Male or female, I don't mind, although I'm not sure if SGU pairs males and females together in rooms?
