I recently interviewed at Stanford University in NM and I really really like this program. Can anyone out there fill me in on the in's and out's of this programs based off past experience?
Lastly, coming from stanford as a NM doc, will this increase your chances of landing a radiology program?

hey there
I'm in kind of the same position... but not in USA or Stanford :p
I can get into a great NM program, but still have some worries after reading and hearing all this negative talk on NM...
I am especially concerned about the bigger role of diffusion MRI, taking over the role of PET in oncology!
How is the market now in the USA?

From what i know PET/MR will mostly likely be a research tool in NM. This is what i am hearing from elders in the field. Apparently radiology is not pushing for this new additional tech. Who knows

Don't be fools, guys. Let me say this once and let it sink in:
ABNM stands for American Board of No Marketability
