I recently applied for SGU in late June, received an interview invite about a week ago for the Jan 2012 class. I just did my interview yesterday.
I am kind of worried about the interview. It was conducted in a recent graduate's office, but I felt it was very brief, and I did not get to answer some questions completely. I was a bit nervous and timid I think, as I really want to go to SGU. I am worried the interview doesn't reflect me, my accomplishments, or my abilities, and I am wondering whether I will be recommended or not by the interviewer.
I am a graduate student now (Biology, 3.64 GPA) completing my thesis, all actual coursework has been completed, with some extra hours and classes taken as well. My thesis focuses on Taxol (Paclitaxel - cancer drug), and I have done research in 3 other areas or biochemistry/biology as well. I took the MCAT back in 2008, scored a 25. My undergraduate GPA was rather low, that is why I went back to grad school.
