Anthony328 10-03-2003, 10:59 AM Texas Tech ophthalmology is considered "jewel" in the south and "hidden" secret of texas. They take 3 residents, highest surgical volume in the state, no fellows to take away cases, for more information read Texas Tech review on scutwork ophthalmology program. The program provides excellent clinical training and hours are great, but if you are looking at doing a lot of research then your options are restricted to cornea and peds. Residents also get good fellowships. I am from Tech and I want to go here, but some of you guys who don't know much should look into the program and atleast interview if offered one. I have also heard good things about UAB, and Okhlama has an excellent program. Anthony328 02-25-2005, 01:13 PM I did not write that statement, someone has stolen my identity!
