Ok, I took the DAT today and am posting my scores for those of you who aren't in the elite 21+ category.
AA: 18
QR: 17
Bio: 18
Chem: 17
OChem: 17
RC: 23
PAT: 15!!! :confused:
Talk about average, huh?

Hey critter: My PAT was a lot higher.. scored 18-19. Everything else was/is the same

Even though you have things that work against you, don't forget that you also have really good things that set you apart from other candidates! You have a masters and you know enough about something to be published in a dental journal. I'm sure you will find a school. =)

Can I ask what your masters gpa is? That is going to weigh as heavily as your undergrad. It may be even more important than your undergrad. If you have a good gpa from masters, it will be of huge benefit.

Seems like you know where you went wrong? Do you think you could have gotten a 20 if you put more time into preparing for the DAT? What do you wish you would have done differently

Your GPA is still one of the more competitive. I don't know about the PAT score though. I think some schools have a cut-off at 16. But then there are also schools that don't care much about PAT.
