I probably have grades/boards slightly(70th percentile) below what I need to get into ortho. Would my chances greatly increase at landing an ortho spot if I did a year doing research after med school? I know they give you points for research, but does anyone know how much that would boost my chances at landing one of those few spots? Thanks
