Just got accepted into University of the Sciences MOT program!
I am a little concerned about cost though, it's about $20k+ more than all the rest.. Is it worth the money? Of course if I don't get in anywhere else, I will not have a choice...
Very shocked they just left a message on my voice mail, no interview or anything!!

I'd like to know more about USP too. I would have to take out more than 100k...!

Hey guys, I also got into USP. I was skeptical though because I didn't have to interview or anything. They also gave me a 12,000 grant that I didn't need to apply for which makes me think they are desperate for people. So I wanted to make sure they were a good program, but I coudn't find ANY info on them! But after digging I found out that their NBCOT (The national OT exam you take after you grad) , USP's pass rate on the NBCOT average pass rate from 2007-2009 was only 50 percent. Which is obviously not a good statistic. So that made me nervous. Inevitably I decided to choose to go to Nova instead as it has a better reputation. Hope this helps some! Good luck !

50% is horrible! Are they even accredited?

Good question. I thought you have to have something like a 70% or 73% to remain accredited. Or I could be wrong entirely but that seems exceptionally low! Unless the other years have had much, much higher rates and the 50% was a fluke.

I read that minimum is 70% as well in order to be accredited.

They are accredited till 2014/2015. If I start in 2012 and graduate in 2015 will my degree be accredited? People are telling me yes..?
