Hi I am looking to apply for the master in OT in a few schools in NY (Columbia, SUNY Downstate, LIU, Sony Brook..) and Philly (Temple, PhilaU, Thomas J). I need to take Anatomy, Physiology, Psychology and was wondering if anyone took them online and still got accepted.
Thanks
P.S. I have attached my Excel spreadsheet that lists pre-reqs, tuition, NBCOT pass rates and such of schools I will apply to, for people who might need it or want to take a look.
UPDATE: Someone pointed out the mistake at Touro NBCOT. The rate I had on the spreadsheet was for OTA not OT. The pass rate for OT at Touro is 73.7%.

I'm very impressed with your spreadsheet! :)
As long as your prereqs are from an accredited school, I sure hope they allow online classes! I've taken four of my prereqs online. They all show up on my transcripts the same as any other class, there is no notation on the transcript saying that it's online or on campus. OTCAS, if you apply to schools through there, doesn't have a distinction either.
Of course, classes with labs you will have to take on a campus or as a hybrid... Also, for me, I thought some of my online classes were a lot harder than they would have been in person (thinking specifically of the amount of work I did for my abnormal psych class, which I took online, compared to the amount of work I did for developmental psych and neuropsych, both of which I took in person). You do a lot of writing, in both forum posts and in research papers. I've had one class where I had to go in to the campus to take exams at the school's testing center, but it was at my leisure during a particular window of time, so there's still that flexibility.

Thanks about the spreadsheet. I am a bit anal and I find this way to be effective and fast to compare! Lol
I took a few classes online in the past and I like it so I don't mind taking more. I have contacted most schools and all of them except 1 said that they would accept online classes. I just want to make sure I won't be put at the bottom of the list just because I took them online. I wasn't aware they appear the same way as regular classes on transcripts so that's good to know!
Thanks
One school told me they look down on online A&P for the lack of lab and in person demos. I would imagine psych would be fine though.
Also, if you go through OTCAS you need to designate the courses you took online when you enter in your coursework.

Good to know. Thank you for the info that would definitely change my plan.
