The big three schools have a longer track record, but also accept many students , two thirds of which are not there after the 2nd semester. Many Ross students transfer to SMU. I would also check out Australia, education standards are on par with the UK and it is much cheaper than the Caribean schools. Your number one choice should be the US schools. It might be worth the time to study for MCATS and try again before heading south. Best of luck. Id assume its closer to 15-20% if you count people who have to repeat a course. But yeah, Australia, England, Ireland, Israel, etc all have great medical schools as well. It just happens that caribbean schools pretty much cater to people who wish to practice in america. |
