After a month of watchful, hopeful waiting for an interview invitation from MUSC, I got the word today that I'm on the alternate list. I'm assuming this means I'm rejected, since their interview dates are late and candidates likely won't have conflicting dates.

Anyway, I was really hoping to go to that program. What a bummer!

don't give up hope yet, you never know what's gonna happen... at least you weren't flat out rejected!
