The way these boards are set up leaves a considerable amount of power and self-governing of the boards in the hands of each user. Bottom up solutions are usually preferable to top-down ones--community control is typically superior to the authorities' control.
For example, everyone might want to keep in mind that there is an Ignore User option in each member's User CP. It in effect gives the community of SDN users a lot of "moderating" power.

Better yet how does "Ignor User" help in seeing some of the insulting nasty things posted about you in a public arena? Should there be a mod to help stop trolls? :luck:

So if you put a lot of posters on ignor do you end up posting to your self?
