I wanted to find out what other people's feeling was on LSU. I think it may be close to probation because it only got one year accrediation. Second, when I went for the interview only 3 residents out of the 28 residents met us. I think they are trying to hide something. Any one else got an opinion on this program? Is it legitimate program?

Two worst parts about the LSU program:

1) Basically a 5-year program. I still don't understand why they force their residents to do their internships at Ocshner. Big turnoff.

2) Facilities weren't that impressive.


Yeah, I wonder what that whoe probation thing is about. They actually addressed it during our interview day... with the chairman saying that it wasn't a problem since their probation was due to some simple "administrative errors" (e.g. the residents not logging in their hours per month).
