One program sent me a letter saying they would be happy to have me as a member of their family, but most others have given me no response or have wished me good luck and inquired if I had any additional questions. This may be a naive question, but will the programs be starting to express interest by phone calls, letters, etc. or is it more our responsibility to initiate that? And secondly, once we express interest to them by telling them we intend to rank them high, what type of response can we expect to get if they're interested? Does anything less than a "we'd love to have you" indicate you're not a top pick?
