  • They contain silica particles with a mean diameter of only 0.04μm(microfillers).
  • They have a prepolymerized blocks of resin containing a higher filler loading of silica.
  • These blocks are ground up to give particles of resin-silica which were then mixed into more resin to form pastes of appropriate viscosity for clinical use.
