The pharmacy tech in the OR pharmacy at my hospital has to be clocked in at 0500! That means wakey-wakey not much later than 0345. :)

I never worked in OR pharm, so I clocked in with the rest of the first shift techs at 0700 (so 0545 wake-up call.)

I guess we all change. Now you have to have 2?

I think 1 is more than enough...those private school tuitions aren't gonna be cheap.

Children Yes, Marriage No thanks... You don't need to get married to have a long term monogamous relationship. I am ok to get married if she forces me and she signs a prenup. Women come with prenup all the time, it's called marriage certificate; men are just dumb enough to accept it at face value. Pre-nup is not romantic? Marriage certificate is NOT romantic; it's the same **** different color.

Two Children, accident happens. 1 for back up, LOL...

Yes, it's estimated to raise a kid from 1 to 18 takes about $250k; add $400k more for college 20 years from now. I am so doing for 529 plan for my future kids ;o

Good luck with that! :p

;)

I've been at the hospital before 0600 for the past 20 weeks. :(

You get accustomed to it after awhile.

DrYoda 06-23-2012 02:05 PM

But I'm done with that now. Vacation and then an entire year of electives:).

Yeah, everyone was real well-behaved, but it did seem a little slower than usual when I got back.

So I rode the greyhound into Phoenix last night...bad idea. Apparently a big ass semi rolled over and caught fire blocking I10. Traffic was backed up for hours and my bus was way late. I didn't get into Phoenix until 2am. Got to bed at almost 3am, woke up at 5am, worked a10 hour shift, and I have to wake up at 5am again tomorrow BUT...i have ****ing insomnia. Wth?!

WVUPharm2007 06-24-2012 06:54 AM

I haven't woken up before like 11AM since like 2009.

I pity you day shift working saps.

I won't be the one asking to get married so this question is not applicable. If she insists, I'll sign in a heartbeat, it protects her and it is only fair; prenup saves time from a headache of a messy divorce.

Are you a man or a woman?

If you are a man than you would have to ask her to marry you. No woman in their right minds would ask a guy to marry her....that's worst than asking a guy out on a first date! It's a big no no.

Most women would leave you in 2 to 3 years if still no ring. :(

You mean to tell me it is normal in your opinion for a woman to buy a diamond ring and ask a guy to marry her? LOL....

I think it's best to stay in tradition on this one.

I could also dye my hair pink and wear a black wedding dress...but again some traditions are worth keeping.

I would leave a guy in 3 years if he still hasn't ask me to marry him. 3 year is about the amount of time needed for a person to decide if they want to marry him or her...if NOTHING is mentioned in 3 years...then the answer is NO and it's time to move on. If a guy hasn't ask you to marry him in 3 years it's a safe bet that he does NOT want to marry you so it's best for you to move on or get dumped soon.

My best friend Annie and her husband dated for 8 years before they got married. Her husband treats her like a queen so I know they will be married for life. I am soooooooooo JEALOUS of her.

How would a woman know if a guy will marry her or NOT?

The WORST that can happen is you stay with a guy for years and years and then have him dump you for some 20 yo whore. I def don't want that to happend...so when would a woman know FOR sure that a man will NEVER marry her? I thought 3 years would be a good number...what do you think then?

I just don't want to waste my time on someone that doesn't want me. :(

SHC1984 06-25-2012 06:49 PM

There is no magical number. You just talk to the person you are with and see if you are on the same page. You know, adult conversations.

crazybob 06-25-2012 08:30 PM

There's one question I want to bring up just to see opinions, but that would probably bring out too many arguments :)

I can only want simple answers, but some people like to argue :D

Should I ask it anyway?

You know what's boring? Gender stereotypes. Made up crap that only limits you.

If a girl wants to ask a guy to marry her, wtf is wrong with that?

Grow a pair :meanie: I washed my car by hand in 107 degree weather. I also fixed my fiancée's bike in our garage when it was 105.

Then again....it IS a dry heat :p

(and I'm just teasing you about the growing a pair part...if you're not born a desert rat, extreme heat takes some getting used to)

3 months is way too quick. People that get married so quickly will most likely end in a divorce. I am not looking to get married that quickly.

I think 3 to 4 years is about the amount of time needed for a person to figure out if the other person is marriage material or not.

If you marry too quickly it will most likely end in a divorce....so that's not good either.

I would wait 3 to 4 yrs MAX cuz I am getting too damn old to wait any longer. If I was 21 yo then I could afford to wait longer. My friend met her husband when she was 18 yo and they dated for 8 years before they got married. They are the perfect example of a husband and wife. PERFECT couple.
