I finished playing Bioshock.

I know it sounds really old since that game came out 5 years ago.

I've been playing Bioshock 2, which came out 2 years ago.

I wish I could play a game for hours. I don't have the attention span.

We went to a Celtic festival yesterday that was awesome!

Today we took the dogs downtown. As we were hanging out in front of a coffee shop, these tourists sat down and lit up cigarettes right next to us and right next to one of those "No Smoking" "Smoke Free Arizona" signs. I told the guy to stop smoking. He got pissed and then proceeded to talk **** about our dogs so Jess told him off, pointing out their violation of the law and what not. He mouthed off and I told him that he really needed to chill because he was breaking the law. A few minutes after they left, the barista came out to clean the windows and overheard my remarks about the sign. She told us that ******* guy had actually asked if he could smoke in front and she told him no, citing the no smoking within 20 feet of a building entrance law. Can you believe that ****er and his blatant disregard for the law and the people around him (which included a 9 year old nearby btw)? What's wrong with people? :mad:

Saving lives feels ****ing good. All those hours of studying and no sleeping are totally worth it after what happened yesterday and today. A patient lives to see another day. She totally would have died with any more delay in treatment or incorrect treatment. We went with our gut and today her white count is 11 (from 21), SCr 0.9, and she is afebrile. Multi lobular pneumonia. The CXR was ****ing scary. Docs didn't know what else to do except transfer her. We switched her antibiotics, dosed them appropriately, and hoped for the best. She is better today. I can't ****ing believe it.

so I've lost some weight recently, but I don't think it's enough to make a difference in how my face looks.

That's the way the world works, it seems. Lose weight where you don't wanna lose it and gain it where you don't want to gain it.

There's this new movie out. Beasts of the Southern Wild. Faneffingtastic. Heavily influenced by Terrence Malick. The little girl actor is amazing. Saw it on a whim at the local film dork theater...glad I did.

I knoww! I thought about yall! I lost all of my numbers in my phone, and the trip was really last minute :( I must say however that Phoenix is not all that bad in the summertime compared to south FL. The humidity is absolutely terrifying...

I think she's bipolar. But yeah mustafina is her name and with all the drama around silver (which most other countries would be happy about) the russians looked like they might turn to cutting. So I'm happy she finally won. She lives for another day.

I really feel bad for komova (the blonde). Her mom is a champion and she probably feels like she's letting hermom down.

I felt bad for Komova. She was the one who fell on the balance beam, right? The whole team just broke down after that. I just feel bad for these girls for being in a sport where this is probably their only chance to be in the games.

I want the US to do well, but I also really like the Russian gymnastics team. In my eyes they will always have a huge reputation & tradition to uphold, and I kind of admire their attitude. They're just passionate. Maybe I'm emo.
