avergae salary in germany? how much less than US?

Hello! I was wondering how much get paid doctors of otorhinolaryngology in Germany? Pre/post taxes? Somebody knows? That would awesomely help me in one project. (I just can not find any information in the Mother Google) Pehaps somebody knows more than google ;)
Thanks ;)

You will be hard pressed to find exact information on salaries per specialty in Germany, all you can really do is try and find general information on docs - and then it heavily depends on a variety of factors. Are you employed by a hospital or in private practice? If the latter, how busy is your practice? Do you mostly have privately insured patients or people with federal insurance? There are a lot of variables here.

According this website the average attending makes around E 60k, the average division head (e.g. chief of cards) makes around E 80k http://www.pharma-biotechnologie-job...agement.cfm#P5 - but I don't know how reliable these figures are.

This place says that if you are an ENT with a successfully running private practice, you make about 110k before tax.

I guess thoose 60k E and 80k E are before taxes? I'm asking that, because my german is not so... - "skilled" :D If so, then after taxes (if I understod that calculator):
If 60k E then Net salary per year - 34 493E after taxes
If 80k E then Net salary per year - 44 970E after taxes

And theese salaries are reeeaaally low :) I expected, that they will be much bigger :(

Germany is not fantastic anymore (and hasn't been in a long time) for physician salaries.
