Reimbursed Oral board course/CME credit

Is there a way to get the BUMED CME reimbursement from oral board preparation courses that only provide certification of hours spent in the course rather than AMA PRA Category 1 credit?

The only review course that I have found offering AMA CME credit is the Osler Part 1 review which is not as beneficial with out the actual practice exams. I would prefer to attend the Dr. Ho and they have said that they only give documentation of hours spent in the course.

I do not really care about the per diem, hotel, and flight costs. It would just be nice to get reimbursed for the review course.

I appreciate any insight provided.

You would need to request payment from Navy Medicine Professional Development Center (previously known as NM MPT&E, NMETC, HSETC, etc) if you are not currently stationed at a Navy Hospital, Clinic, etc.

That said, I doubt they will cover it.
