Ahh sorry! Random IT security checks at work. :scared:

I protected the Kitchen last night, but there were no attacks there. And I would assume this means I protected it from conversions as well, because when I protected Sheepdog from a wolf attack several nights ago, I also prevented someone else from using an item on him. Or at least that's what I think. Unless of course he had the lead pipe then too.

Same, but it depends on how DVMDream set up the game (so we can't assume anything :(). In the JP game we gave protective items a small chance of preventing a conversion... but I don't remember how it's worked for other games. Thoughts?

Just got home from an awful pharmacology final. I'm going to take a nap until like noon cst. Then it will be time to get up and study for my last 2 finals. I will be sure to check in before the vote. This whole sleep deprivation thing is really getting to me. Whoever invented finals week should be shot.

A failed attack is also possible if Philliab protected the kitchen and they attacked someone in it. Not sure if we/she would be notified of that, though?

:thumbup::thumbup: You know what the best part of my finals week is? Last final is tomorrow at 8am. ICU is my first rotation so I start clinics tomorrow night at 8pm -- 12h shift, plus who knows how long for orientation (which starts 7:30am Friday). Super fun.

Philliab told us she would be silenced if the room she protected was attacked, so looks like that isn't what happened.

Correct! But I have no clue if conversion is the same thing as being attacked. I would assume that no one could get in to do the conversion since I lock down the room.

I randomly picked the room that had more people that we hadn't cleared/looked at well. I was also the one that candlestick-ed the ballroom the night before and it got blown out so by golly I was gonna do it again.

I'm not sure it's correct that you can't protect yourself. I know the night I had it my PM from DVMD said you can use it to protect another player; but that doesn't necessarily mean you CAN'T use it to protect yourself.

I'd say it's an open question at this point.

I'm not sure why it's significant, though.

Oh I was just theorizing on different items and such, and thought it was odd that you couldn't protect yourself. Nothing more than that.

There's not much of a list. If it ends up being needed, I know all of the names (or can find them in my PMs).

OK...I'm probably reaching here, but in other games can some items only be used by wolves? Or only used to kill innocents? Does that make sense?

I'm still trying to figure out if the results of the revolver are random or tied to wolf usage. So wolf (assume nyanko) kills wildcatj or Packen, wolf (SOV) doesn't kill Sheep, villager (jj) doesn't kill Lissa. Does that even matter?! <commence hair pulling>

I have lots of studying to do but I have no idea who to vote for. I'm leaning towards making sheeps burn his veto. I feel like everyone knows the important people so there really isn't a point to having it around.

Yep. Only 5 people, one of whom is dead. But the "list" may be squat if there was a conversion.l

Not to keep the veto but it will just be wasting a vote. I would rather guess and possibly kill a wolf rather than waste a whole day cycle when I have proven my innocence.

Also even though there may have been a conversion that still means there was an original wolf that did the converting so the cleared list is still useful. There are 4 people left who haven't been cleared. I am going to decide one for my lynch vote today.

You sound an awful lot like LIS in the LOTR game. I don't think it is wasting a vote. If you are innocent like you claim, you have no reason to keep the veto. When it gets to be this late in the game, the veto is only beneficial to the wolves.
