Hi--I am a mid-career elementary teacher interested in becomming a MFT I have investigated 3 programs, and want to know if anyone holds any strong opinions--positive or negative about them.

Both Cal State Los Angeles and Phillips Institute can combine the MFT program with a pupil services credential, which would keep me one foot in the door (serving students in a school setting)

The other program, Pacific Oaks College, has a latino family cohort program, which would fit my needs also. I am bilingual and work with predominately latino students.

Any graduates or present students of these programs out there?

Also, Any teachers out there who balanced grad school with classroom responsibilites, along with a family?
