Just to add to what everyone has already mentioned... If you have an audiology program connected to your university they may be able to help you (for free or a very reduced price!) figure out what products may work. My first year in the audiology program I had a client who was in the same position as you. We gave that person many options and let them try out a few different products before making an investment into the products. Unfortunately, I was not able to be there when they came back and made their decision; however, I know that they were able to find a solution since they were able to borrow products to test out.
