For each of you who continue to be downtrodden on this thread, you must realize that this is an acceptance thread and the people that view and join this thread, other than you, are excited and happy about what the future holds either as an accepted student directly or a supporter thereof. You will also recall that by this time, we have chosen our school and cannot thus just go back to another school that we have already said no to, they are trying to fill their spots now.
Thank you for your repeated "I'm just trying to help" statements, we get it. And yes, if you are a dentist already or a DS3 or DS4 who will get into any residency you want and were a student who was accepted to every school you applied to, you are very much qualified to voice your opinion as an educated and knowledgeable person, but does that make it right? The last thing as students who CHOSE this school want to hear is that they may possibly be wrong.
Your continued defamation and slandering of the school is very much a reflection of your character. What is even more shocking is that there are separate accounts used for the very purpose of this.
I hope that as a person "just trying to help," you will realize that you will do the most help by dragging your concerns to the administration that you so lowly speak of to help us who will be attending, who chose to come to this school. I also hope that your future practices as dentists or dental specialists are not defamed or slandered much in the same way the name of this dental school has been thanks to you. Life and death are in the hands of the words that you speak, please choose them wisely before you administer death to the aspirations and hopes of the students who chose this school and who will choose this school.

Thank you very much sportsguy20! As someone who was only accepted at UTHSCSA and nervous about the whole experience and now, the only comments I can see on any UTHSCSA thread dating back to Jan/Feb has been people trying to "help" us future students by scaring the sh** out of us, who by the way are, again, nervous as heck to begin with. At this point, I'm already exhausted just thinking about what lies ahead and am already expecting the worst.
For the sake of us, the students who really had no choice but to accept here, please quit dogging the school and if you have anything to say, let it be positive. There has already been more then enough negativity in regards to the school, and we are all aware that we should expect to fail, or expect to be kicked out for unknown reasons.
Anyway, as nervous as I am about these upcoming 4 (maybe 5 or 6 or 7...who knows) years, I'm still excited to finally be taking that first step to becoming a dentist. Congrats to all accepted and looking forward to meeting y'all in July!
