I just want to clearly state again that NOBODY from our program is told they cannot/ should not seek an APPIC internship. There is no process by which people are "screened" for application to APPIC and turned away. Our match rates reflect students who choose to apply for APPIC, and the vast majority of students do make that choice. I have no way of knowing whether this is the case in the
PAU Ph.D. program; I am speaking only for the
PGSP-Stanford Psy.D. Consortium.
