Studied engineering in undergrad because it seemed safe. Graduated in 03 with a mediocre GPA because I always half-a**ed my classes. Luckily, I somehow got a good job in the automotive industry anyway. In 07, started dating a dental student who turned out to be a crazy raging b***ch. Met her dental friends and learned more about the career through her, and dentistry peaked my interest. I was scared to go for it because of my mediocre undergrad grades. Plus the thought of not making money and the tuition scared me. The tuition plus opportunity cost would be like.. $700k or something. Anyway, in 2010 decided to just go for it and registered for classes at a nearby university. Boss was flexible with my schedule. Turns out I'm a kickass student as long as I focus. 4.0ed my informal postbac. Did well on the DAT as well. 5 interviews 3 acceptances. Will be starting at Tufts this Fall.
