You seem to be under the impression that a jury is somehow incapable of determining whether a shooting was justified. Or, heck, just letting a guy off anyway.

I know of a case where a man shot a guy (who'd been sleeping with his girlfriend) in the back of the head at point blank range with his foot on the middle of the guy's back, claimed self defense, and walked.

Why?

Because he was white, the dead guy was a black crack dealer, and he got an all white jury in Washington Parish, a particularly backwards area even by Louisiana standards. Kinda like a Sanford.

Just sayin.
