No worries! You did not offend. I simply find the whole money talk amusing (granted, I was raised in a family of 6 with a yearly income of < $12k). I can understand people who need to consider large metro areas, trying to raise kids (those suckers are expensive!), other extenuating situations, etc., but the individuals I hear who say they couldn't possibly "survive" on < $75-100k (to support themselves alone; or with some, if they are in a relationship with a shared, comparable income, no kids in the equation) just tickles my funnybone. Priorities, folks.
