During our school's 'foundations in medicine' course they actually had a lesson on physician relationships where they showed the divorce rates for doctors. What wasn't surprising was that the divorce rates for physicians were insanely high. What was k]surprising was exception to the rule: when a physician married another physician. Two doctor marriages actually have a divorce rate no higher than the national average, WAY better than the divorce rate for a physician married to a non physician.
