As for cost of a used car, you should check out the prices on craiglist. I got mine off a P4 pharmacy student for 3.5K. There is a group you can join for UH COP where ppl sometimes post listing for furnitures, rooms, cars. I am not sure how to post fb group link, maybe someone can help you out.
